Sometimes, I meet up with clients for the first time, not having ever met them before, and it seems like they were just made for me to photograph. We get along so easily, it’s like we have known each other forever. I don’t know how I manage to attract all these amazing people. The Dunlop family came to me as they bid on a session with me at one of the fundraising auctions that I have donated to this summer (this one to help raise funds for an extremely courageous little boy and his family). So, we were literally put together by chance, and it couldn’t have been more awesome. We had a wicked fun family session at Campbell Valley Park! Their little girls were so awesome, and so beautiful. I can’t wait to show you guys the rest of the session!

I’ve had tons of inquiries about mini sessions this fall. I have decided to make November mini session month! That means you can book mini sessions all month long in November! No specific dates or times, just email me and we can work it out! Of course, there will be limited availability on the weekends since those are the most in demand. I will be collecting a $50 non refundable retainer in order to reserve your date and time.
Give me a shout!

Here’s a taste of some of the April Mini Sessions I have been shooting!

My good friend and fellow photographer Michelle Dixon asked if I could do some 1 year portraits of her youngest son, Preston. Preston has always been such a happy, easygoing little guy and so I couldn’t wait to take some of him at 1 year old! I have already photographed him a couple of times including as he lay in his incubator in which he spent the first week or so of life, and again just after coming home from the hospital.
Now it’s been a year, and this guy is thriving despite his rough start at life, and he’s loving every minute of it!

I am pretty sure they are scheming against me here.

Ah, brotherly love. Love the slight look of panic on Preston’s face.

I guess the rock doesn’t taste very good.

Big brother Carter doing none other than jumping! It’s kind of his specialty.

Hope you enjoy them Michelle!

Mike and Wendy’s gorgeous two daughters have been on my blog several times before, and still remain in my portfolio. When Mike and Wendy decided to tie the knot (after two babes!) she inquired about my availability right away. I was excited because I really love working with Wendy she is so trusting with my creative ideas, and so sweet!

Apparently July 10 was a big date for weddings! The weather was hot, sunny, and the parks and picturesque areas were packed with wedding parties doing photos. We encountered several on our adventures!

We start with preparing for our intimate ceremony in a close friends back yard.

Wendy had created a gorgeous palette of yellows that complimented the sunny day!!!

The casual atmosphere was just perfect, and the kids enjoyed the grass as the ceremony started

Hailey remained close to her mommy’s side, and Hannah stood with the bridesmaids and watched intently as her parents professed their love and commitment to each other.

After one shot of the entire party, including kids, we took off without the kids to Historic Stewart Farm for some more fun and creative shots:

We had tons of fun seeking out spots around the property! My second shooter Michelle did an amazing job helping me with some creative poses. I couldn’t have done it without her!

Enter to the reception, at Anastasia Steak and Seafood house in Surrey! I grabbed a quick few detail shots for Wendy!

To Mike and Wendy, it was a joy to see you come together in a further bond than you already have. Your daughters are proof that you are truly meant to be, and make an awesome team together. Congratulations to you and your little girls!
